SON VICIOUSLY MURDERS DAD & MOM cause they were going to evict him

Two people have been arrested in a brutal double murder on Long Island. Police say the divorced couple was viciously murdered by their own son and his girlfriend.
They were shot and killed execution style Sunday night in Elmont, police say. Long Island reporter Emily Smith is in Mineola with the story.
Police say the deceased couple and their son had been arguing for days over his unemployment and his lifestyle, and they say that in itself is what they believe led to the shooting death of his mom and dad.
“Why things turned sour, we don’t know,” said relative Keith Green.
Keith Green says he’s no stranger to bad news, but to hear his 20-year-old nephew Frank Gallimore has been arrested for killing his own parents is shocking. Neighbors say the same.
“I was so shocked at what I saw. It’s never happened, something like that. Maybe it’s of jealousy, really I don’t know,” a neighbor said.
Neighbors report hearing two gunshots and calling 911 right away. By the time police arrived, 41-year-old Grace Thorpe and her former husband, 51-year-old Franklin Gallimore were dead on the kitchen floor, each shot once in the head, according to police.
Early this morning, authorities found the couple’s son hiding out in a Farmingdale hotel with his girlfriend. Now, both face murder charges. Cops believe the couple’s son fired both shots.
“Mrs. Thorpe was having problems with her son and she wanted him out of the house,” a Nassau County police official said.
Gallimore, according to police, was unemployed and allowed his girlfriend to stay in his mother’s home uninvited. When his divorced mom and dad decided to team up on him and evict them, police say Gallimore did things his way by ending their lives.
“She was a loving mother,” said Keith Green.
Both suspects are expected to be arraigned Tuesday on first and second degree murder charges.
