Man Beaten for Fifty Cents

A Seguin man is recovering after he was attacked by two armed robbers.

Detectives said the armed robbery happened when the man was walking down N. Heideke Street. The robbers drove up near the man, jumped out of the car carrying a knife and a pipe, and demanded money.

During the attack, the man was struck in the head and knocked out. The robbers then grabbed his money and took off. Police said the robbers made off with just 50 cents.
