7 Year-Old Boy Finds $8,900 Worth of Crack Cocaine in his Jacket Pocket

Tampa, Florida — Tampa Police are investigating drugs found at Forrest Hills Elementary School.
Yesterday officials from the school contacted Tampa Police about a 7-year-old who brought the drugs to school. When the first grader found the drugs, he notified his teacher.
Narcotics detectives determined it was 89 grams of crack/cocaine, which the child discovered in his jacket pocket.
Currently detectives are investigating and trying to determine how the drugs got into the child’s pocket. There are no arrests at this time.
