Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich who in locked in an increasingly bitter primary fight with former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney received some good news on Monday with the endorsement of former Alaska ‘First Dude’ Todd Palin.
Mr. Palin who phoned the candidate before making the endorsement official, revealed that his famous wife and 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is still on the fence during the 2012 presidential cycle.
Mrs. Palin is one of the biggest names in the Republican Party still sitting on the sidelines in this election year.
The controversial Alaskan TV commentator has praised in the past candidates like Gingrich and Rick Santorum on their conservatives credentials.
Political experts now agree that endorsements rarely translate into votes, their biggest upside is the positive media coverage they often bring.
